Carlo's Batchoy, to my disappointment

I just want to share with you my latest experience in Carlo's Batchoy. I don't want to be quoted on this one because this is just my own personal experience. Last night, I was looking for something to eat near at my workplace and all I can think of is Jollibee and Chowking in Hi-way Mandaue but I don't feel like eating fast foods that time. To my surprise, I've found a Carlo's Batchoy branch in the corner across Jollibee. I've tried Carlo's Batchoy many times before in Colon and as far as I could remember, their batchoy was sumptuos not until I've tried them in their Hi-way Mandaue Branch. So I ordered Sisig, which cost P120, a little bit pricey for me, and their Special Batchoy with egg for P50 Pesos, and also one cup of rice. Their service is actually kind of fast, like after 15 minutes, they were able to serve our food. Maybe, that's also because there's not a lot of customers that time. It was 6:30 at night. So when the food finally arrived, I tell you it really does look yummy. They serve it hot. The sisig looks so appetizing. When I started eating the Sisig, it was okay but it was too cloy for my taste. I don't know maybe it was because of the egg, or because it was not that spicy for a Sisig. After 10 minutes of battling with the Sisig. I've finally went to taste their Special Batchoy. I was looking for something special, just like before.. To my dismay it was nothing really like that.. In fact, just like the Sisig, it was too cloy for me as well. It was not really tasty.. It was just too much noodles I think.. Less the chicharon, and beef which is really the highlight of the food. I really don't know if it was just me? Or it was the food itself. Also maybe because it was when I eat it, it was not that hot anymore, since I eat it after 10 minutes when it arrived? Because as far as I know many have always had good impression with Carlo's Batchoy. I dont know but for sure I was sort of disappointed with my dinner. I paid almost P200, but I didn't enjoy it.
