If you have been to Cebu City, Philippines I am sure you have heard about this place called “Larsian”. The barbeque capital of Cebu city,it is situated beside a hospital which I forgot the name but I know it is somewhere in Fuente Osmena.

Anyway, my Filipino friends brought me and my wife to this place after we had a quick night-out on one of the resto bars in the area. It was almost 1:00 A.M. when they decided to passed by and get something to eat.

I was surprised because I never thought that a simple place will be filled-up with much people at that time, eating and drinking. They serve grilled or barbeque pork,chicken, fish and stuffs(small intestines of chicken). Wow! So yummy! It was sweet flavored and a bit salty but it was awesome when you dipped it on the chili sauce. I really do not know what is the secret of their barbeques,  why it taste so strangely delicious and inviting to one’s taste.

Well, of course I experienced eating the well known hanging rice or “poso” using my bare hands. I think I consumed more than 10 pieces of “poso”,  actually it was just a quarter- sized of my fist. So I ate plenty of it causing stomachache in the morning.

I will definitely come back to Larsian again when I get the chance to visit Cebu City. Ciao!
