Casa Verde is one of my favorite restaurants in Cebu. I'm kind of surprised why I haven't seen any blog posted here about  Casa Verde. When in fact it’s very popular among Cebuanos. They are very known to their specialty course which is the Brian's Baby Back Ribs.  My first time in Casa Verde was in their I.T. Park branch, it wasn't much of a big place, but they have this interesting interior design that talks about vintage and old things, like old movies, old vehicles with a touch of American culture which is a very attractive ambiance. It reminds me of TGIF less the heavy price. Moreover, let's talk on the main the subject which is the food. When finally they gave us our order, I should say, that just by seeing the food it's equally tempting just as what the word of mouth says. It looks so juicy. It’s a huge serving and I had a doubt that I could finish it all because I don't really eat big. The meat was just perfect that it seems it could fell off the bone, and in every straw of meat you could taste the sauce secretes into the meat. Among any other baby back ribs, theirs has a distinctive taste you can't get enough of. Did I tell you that I don't eat big? Because actually I did, I finished it all. The price for the food is really cheap. If I could remember it was less than $4 for the specialty course.

I got so addicted to their food, that I kept on coming back every week, and it practically gave me a weight gain when I was in Cebu. My friend said we could go to their "main branch" that started it all. So we drove along in this tiny street which lead to where Casa Verde is. Now when we finally reach to our destination, it was sort of an old/ancestral house turned into a restaurant. I figure, as well, that that’s why its called Casa Verde because it’s a green house. They said it was the owners house before where they started the business. It was a totally different ambiance than in their I.T. Park branch. Its more Filipino-ish because of the house, bigger, packed with food lovers who wants to indulge their food. Aside from their specialty they also have a wide list of American cuisines, which is equally tasty and very affordable. One more reason why I kept on coming back was the desserts. Blueberry Cheesecake, I've always love  blueberry cheesecake and I should say theirs is pretty competitive with other restaurants out there and its very cheap. Death by chocolate, composed of ice cream with a chocolate cookie base and covered with hardened chocolate. So Yummy!
