Me and my barkada went out last Friday on a dinner treat by our "OLD" friend and her boyfriend who came from abroad.

We decided to meet in Boosog, located at The Gallery in Mabolo (across the San Carlos Seminary). I came a bit early so I had the chance to set down and see Boosog's patrons grow in number. It took just 15 minutes to fill up almost all tables . I took it as a good sign coz it means that their food was good. My friends arrived around 7:30pm and luckily we were able to get a table right away.

We ordered Pork Sinigang, Baked Scallops, Kinilaw na isda, Calamares, Grilled Tangigue and Crispy Pata ooooohhh yeah Unlimted Rice and Bottomless ice tea for everybody hehehehe. I asked the waiter how long it would take for order to be ready he replied "15-20 minutes mga mam and sir".

UG SA DIHANG the 15-20 minutes turned into an hour of waiting . When they served our order we were already very hungry and it takes them a lot of time to refill our glasses and add rice. Which really disrupted the concentration and momentum of our chewing technique hahahahaha

About the food the Pork Sinigang was ok (my friend said her boyfriend can cook better) , the calamares was good not too much flour. I did not have the chance to eat the scallops, the crispy pata was not hard, the skin was crispy and the meat was soft nicely done. The kinilaw was ok, and the Grilled Tangigue was really good. (I'm really sorry if I can't really describe the taste of the food not much of a critic hehehe)

But all in all the Food was GOOD and affordable but the SERVICE SUCKS ..I think they need to hire more personnel. So till next time cheers!
