I have been searching for the better crispy pata, chicken tinola, lechon kawali, pinakbet, sinuglaw (fish kinilaw + pork sinugba), breaded chicken and adobong kangkong. Ive gone to Sta. Fe in Bantayan up north to lace>Santanderlace> down south but no place could ever match nor surpass Coco Bonggos scrumptious creations. >>

>>

Before it closed last year, Coco Bonggo used to sit on a corner lot in Horseshoe Hills in Banawa. A few meters from the Alliance of Two Hearts Church, it was accessible either from Duterte Street or through lace>Happy Valleylace> along V. Rama Avenue. Ran only by 3 staffs (a waiter, a cook and an assistant); they offered a pocket-friendly menu of good food and efficient service to common diners with a truly Filipino native ambiance of simplicity and serenity. >>

>>

Indeed, some good things never last but I hope one day Coco Bonggo will re-open to bring delight and happiness to its craving patrons.
